Lasanta's savor could hit different depending on people. It is because majority of the flavor components isn’t distinctive enough to appreciate individually, however, it is worth recognizing the discrepancy as one of many merits that the whisky features.

 

 

Instantly after opening, the scents of sherry, light chocolate, and honey come out consecutively in order but they disappear quite quickly. Soon the flower with mild alcohol takes over the center of aroma, over which some scents faintly show up. Personally, 'orange, bee-wax, butter, mint' could be sensed, but they could be appreciated differently based on people. It is difficult to find the mentioned smells of sherry, chocolate, honey after the floral scent pops up. If one desires to smell them again, a few minutes of refreshment is necessary.

 

 

The sweetness with fruity savor and spiciness can be picked up first. More specifically, the taste of berries, raisins, and sweet orange which passes slightly. The chocolate flavor can be appreciated very shortly. A friend of mine mentioned 'sour, salty, nutty taste' in the whisky. Also, the spiciness feels mild, and its texture feels as though tiny bubbles continue to burst. The intensity of spiciness grows as the liquid stays in the mouth longer.

 

 

The spiciness from the taste and mild bitterness can be picked up at the finish. The bitter taste is weaker than the one in Glenmorangie the Original. Additionally, the floral scent is accentuated after tasting, and the bitterness at the finish affects the smell, too.

 

 

In sum, as various components are surrounding the Lasanta's flavor, one can associate new savor with every sipping. Moreover, it is definite merit to alter the original liquor using the sherry cask, transforming the liquid into something new. The whisky is suitable for those who like a light flavor or heavy one.
