The first nosing is full of nutty and dark chocolate cake aromas.
The first sipping is smooth and classy.
The Dalmore 18 was so mesmerizing that I barely noticed a chicken in front of me.
It tasted spicy right after opening, but with time it was displaced with the distinctive taste of The Dalmore.
Most of all, behind the elegantly combined nose, there are scents of sherry, honey, fruits, nutty and dark chocolate.
The Dalmore 12 has a slight hint of 18 and an overpowering spicy flavor.
The Dalmore 15 tastes as a diluted version of 18.
With chocolate pudding, the distinctive flavor seems to get enhanced.
If someone wants to be consoled with a whisky dram after a long day, the Dalmore 18 does it perfectly with its distinctively elegant flavor.

Nose: Nice and thick, with plenty of sherry shining through. Full of fruit cake, raisins, blood oranges, and milk chocolate. A hint of cherries. Hints of crème brûlée and dark bread. Some vanilla and a hint of potpourri.
Palate: Smooth, thick, and almost syrupy, with honey, chocolate coated raisins, dark bread again. Drier hints of tobacco and pepper. Licorice. A bitter hint of marmalade as well.
Finish: Fairly long, on dark chocolate, walnuts, and sticky toffee pudding.
