Domaine Chanson Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2019 is easy to drink with its little oak and fruit aromas. An unusual feature is the carbonic acid which might have been caused by bottle-maturation. Its weak level of acidity quickly and lightly passes the taste buds. The wine has a light body, a hint of tannin, moderate acidity, and dryness. Regarding the flavor spectrum of the wine, despite of the various components (fruits, oak, tannin, acidity, appropriate body), the overall aspect of the wine might not sufficiently satisfy the consumers. The raw taste of fruits appreciated after the acidic taste might be a down point for some. The aroma of the red fruit gradually rises to full blossom with time.
