From this reddish-brown wine, one can first pick up the scents of concentrated fruit, licorice, pickled fruit vinegar, and caramel, then the underlying smells of nuts and chocolate follows. There are similar qualities of the scents in the taste. The flavor of honey-roasted nuts, especially, is appreciated well enough.

One sipping makes the mouth water with its sweetness and acidity. There is no tannin, a general feature of red wine, but the wine gives the sense of slight dryness in the mouth. Compared to the heavy and concentrated flavor, it has a light body and it features intense sweetness and alcohol, which can be slightly picked up at the finish. The bitterness felt on the taste buds fades away in a few days after the opening.
